Check up tomorrow

Riley has an appointment with his cardiologist, Dr. Tarnoff, in San Francisco Tuesday afternoon. Riley's stitches should be removed from his chest and his wrist. In addition, Riley will likely have an x-ray done to check the status of the elevated levels of fluid around his heart and under his lung due to the chylous.

Other than that, Riley has been in good spirits. He has only taken Tylenol a couple of times since he's been home. One thing we have noticed is that he seems a little more clingy and gets very upset whenever we leave the room. This is very unusual for Riley. We've read and heard from other parents, however, that this is typical and temporary behavior for a child who has been hospitalized.
