Riley is doing great. He seems more and more like himself every day. He's even doing some new tricks... or at least attempting them. He's been trying to pull himself up, which is very exciting. And he's becomimg more mobile by scooting around on his bum. The task of child-proofing is in the near future.
His low-fat diet leaves him rather ravenous. We're amazed at how much he is eating, and we are hoping that the weight-loss as a result of being on an IV feed has halted.
The one odd side affect of him being in the hospital is that he's now sleeping through the night. It could just be a coincidence, but perhaps waking up for a bottle of non-fat milk isn't nearly as enticing as waking up to nurse. Whatever the reason, we're all enjoying the uninterrupted sleep.
Here are pictures of Riley at home with some of his new loot.
