Riley was started on the tPA at 1:15. Five hours later his oxygen levels haven't changed, he's at 94% as I write this. The nurse has been watching him like a hawk for any signs of bleeding or anything unusual. About five minutes ago I noticed that his left chest tube was draining blood so they've stopped the tPA and paged the cardiologists. Also, Riley is NPO as of 6am in anticipation of the cath lab. I gave him some strawberries to eat at 5:55 but he's just thrown them up. All in all, not a good start to the day.

Really, it seems like every other day brings another question... I feel for you, having to deal with yet more complications. We continue to think about you and we're praying for a resolution to this latest setback. :-(
I agree totally with Babs. Feeling ill thinking about you all and the kind of day you are having. Know we are there with you in thought and sending our support. I am glued to this blog today even though trying to teach.
