Riley and Carter had not seen each other for more than a week. Carter was sick and we did not want Riley to be exposed to any additional illnesses. But we finally got the two together and both were extremely happy and cheerful to be in the other's company. They played in bed for a while before heading out for an exciting wagon ride around UCSF. I think they've been missing each other. We cannot wait until everyone is home and back in our regular routines. Who knows when that will be.
We will hopefully have a clearer picture on the plan for Riley after Dr. Tarnoff and Dr. Karl have an opportunity to discuss Riley's case Monday (Dr. Karl has been out of town).

It is a bummer that Riley may be in the hospital for his Birthday :(

How nice to see the two of them together! I'm sure they missed each other, and I bet that was part of the reason for Riley's grumpiness early on.
