Math skills, computer hacking skills...

"Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills...You know, like nunchuck skills, bowhunting skills, computer hacking skills..." Just a little Napoleon Dynamite humor. But Riley does have some amazing math skills. He continues to impress me daily!

I went into his room yesterday morning and curled up on the futon while he babbled in bed. He was talking to his animals and then said, "21 plus one is 22. Four plus one is five. Five plus one is six..."

He's been doing simple subtraction for a while based on eating stuff.

Me: "How many bites do you have?
Riley: Seven
Me: After you eat one, how many will you have?
Riley: Six...

It's so fascinating how he learns stuff.
