Riley's surgery has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 23, with him being admitted on Wednesday, March 22--Ken's birthday.
This means that the blood we collected for his surgery will be released into the general blood bank at UCSF. As a result, we'll need to go through this donation process again. If you are blood Type A or O, and interested in being a possible donor, please contact us and we'll provide more information. Donations will likely be collected from March 16 thru March 20.

Glad to hear a new date has been set. I think I speak for everybody at Jot in saying that we're looking forward to seeing Riley (and to a lesser extent Ken) around the office again after this is over.
Suzanne, I'm Type O and donate regularly with Blood Centers of the Pacific. Email me and I'll be glad to donate for Riley. It would be an honor.
The only glitch might be because two weeks ago I did an apheresis donation, but I *think* that I can donate whole blood now without problem. Anyway, I'll certainly call and check.

I'm O+. I gave blood in mid-January, so should be OK to do so again on the 16th. I will be on vacation from the 18th through the 26th, so let me know early.
