Intracardiac line and tubes are out

The second attempt at the IV failed, so the doctors decided to proceed without one. They removed two sets of pacer lines, the intracardiac tube and 2 of the 3 chest tubes. So he only has just the one chest tube now. He is resting peacefully after the versed. They are doing a chest x-ray to check the fluid build-up, and after the x-ray is done we'll be able to hold him.
